| At the gateway to the city of trees stands the Historic Boise Depot perched along the Boise Bench. This is a great place to stop and stroll the gardens and view the city. The Boise Green Belt is a wonderful place to walk or bike along the Boise River, through downtown and east to Lucky Peak Reservoir and State Park or west all the way to Eagle, Idaho. While walking the Green Belt stop by the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial Idaho's capital city offers plenty of cultural activities in and around the downtown core.The Boise Art Museum, Discovery Center of Idaho, Basque Museum, Idaho State Historical Museum. Looking for a slightly scary adventure than check out the Old Idaho Penitentiary. While there you may want to wander over to the Idaho Botanical Garden which is also a great venue for summer concerts.
