What Others Are Saying About Me

Kelly really made the experience of buying a new home enjoyable and easy. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and then helped me sell my house on the first day it was listed! Buying and selling can be an intimidating process, but not with Kelly Exline as your Realtor!

We would highly recommend Kelly for your Real Estate agent – She’s professional, knowledgeable and really listened to what we wanted in a house. She didn’t waste our time looking at homes that would not be of interest and questions were always answered in a timely manner, she would take the extra step to find out information and she made it enjoyable even when there was stress. We love our new home – thank you Kelly, we would do business with you again in a heartbeat!

Kelly, Many thanks for all the help, which was certainly above the service I expected from an agent but then I knew quickly that you were an agent extraordinaire! I know we will enjoy the home immensely.

Buying a house with Kelly has been a great experience. She helped us find exactly what we were looking for in the location we wanted. Plus she made the closing experience easy, probably the most painless out of the 3 closings I’ve done. No wonder she came so highly recommended. We really appreciate all the follow-ups as well.

From every deal I learn something, but from this one I learned “tenacity.” Job well done and you have earned my respect. Thank You.

Kelly was an absolute pleasure to work with. I bought my first home with Kelly as my Realtor. I had many questions and concerns about the process and she took care of all of them. Every little detail was seen through to the end Kelly was a reliable and trust worthy professional. She even kept in contact after I bought my house to make sure everything was going smoothly. Kelly has a great personality and was lots of fun to work with. I have/do recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a great Realtor, and I will go to her if I need to buy another house.

Kelly, Thank you for all your help, dedication and patience in selling our house. You remain not just our realtor but a friend as well!

Kelly did a wonderful job helping my elderly father buy a home in Boise.  He moved here from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and it was a big change for him to leave his home of 39 years.  Kelly helped to make this transition less stressful and actually fun for him!  Her high level of energy, knowledge, and thoroughness allowed him to quickly find a nice home for a fair price in a seller’s market.  I highly recommend her services.

I am absolutely astounded at how hard Kelly worked for me. She tirelessly helped me get a superb price for my house, while at the same time working patiently with me to find the perfect new home. Kelly is sharp, energetic, shrewd yet compassionate and fun. I don’t know what I would have done without her!

My Story

I haven’t always been a realtor. Hear my story to get to know me a little better.

In 1972 my family moved to the great state of Idaho. We moved from the flatlands of Illinois to Sun Valley, ID. Talk about culture shock, not to mention climate! I had the opportunity to head back to Michigan in the late 70’s to attend Kingswood School Cranbrook, and then I was off to the University of Arizona.

I have always enjoyed cooking and baking and ended up at The Culinary Institute Of America in Hyde Park, NY where I graduated in 1983 as a chef.  Upon graduating I headed off to sunny southern California where I worked in numerous restaurants and hotels including the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel.

Finally time to grow up and get off the beach so I headed back to Idaho. Boise this time as I could think of no better place to raise my son. Ironically after 18 great years in Boise my son decided to attend University in Southern California and now that he has graduated in lives in the LA area– back to the beach.

Over the next 14 years I worked with my mother in the family business, Central Park, a woman’s boutique in downtown Boise. I also ran a wedding cake business, Edible Art. A high point as a cake decorator was being chosen as a finalist in the ‘Tattinger Champagne Search for the Ultimate Wedding Cake’ (NYC 1993).  Alas I didn’t win but what an experience!

The year 2002 brought with it many changes, one of which was the opportunity for a career change ~ Real Estate! I have greatly enjoyed the past 11 years and the many different challenges each transaction brings. While the challenges are wonderful, it’s the relationships and life long friendships that have developed that I cherish the most.

I enjoy the opportunity to continue educating myself and in turn better serve my clients. I earned an ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) designation several years ago and completed my GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) the spring of 2007. In the fall of 2009 I passed the Idaho State and National Brokers exams to become an Associate Broker.
