Eagle, Idaho
Located 8 miles west of downtown Boise lays the upscale community of Eagle, spreading out from the banks of the Boise River to the north and south. Eagle has seen substantial growth over the past quarter century with a current population of approximately 20,000. Along with upscale subdivision development has come numerous golf courses, restaurants, medical facilities, shopping and business complexes. Currently the only thing I can think of missing is a theater. Eagle Fun Days marks the official start of summer fun with a concert, parade and the “World’s Largest Rocky Mountain Oyster (bull testicles) Feed” A fundraiser for the volunteer fire department. Despite it’s upscale image Eagle has managed to retain it’s small town charm.
